Umberto Sorbo

Umberto Sorbo, Director, Realtor Associate
Entrepreneur and restaurateur, Umberto Sorbo has been a dedicated businessman for over 25 years. Owning and operating over 20 businesses in his career, his key to success has been the fundamental attributes of honesty, integrity, compassion and hard work.

Mr. Sorbo graduated the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacology in 1985. After several years in the field, he realized this was not his dream. At the young age of 24, Mr. Sorbo opened his first nightclub. It wasn’t long before he opened three more clubs. Mr. Sorbo’s Club Baby Head in Providence, RI became one of the most popular live music clubs in the country featuring national bands as well as local bands and DJ’s.

Mr. Sorbo soon became a major concert promoter. He provided bands for venues across the country small and large, from 700 seat clubs all the way up to 12,000 seat arenas. Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Frank Sinatra were some of the bands Sorbo promoted during his career. Before long Mr. Sorbo opened 5-star American Brasserie, Grill 262, on Providence’s historic river downtown. Earning accolades for its walk-in humidor and fabulous wood-grilled dishes, Grill 262 fired on all cylinders. Mr. Sorbo opened his first sports bar, Sharx Bar and Grill in 2003. This led to 2 more craft beer pubs opening recently in the center of Brown University Medical School.

Currently Mr. Sorbo has 2 restaurants operating, two more in development stage and more to come. He is a seasoned real estate investor with many properties in Rhode Island and Florida to his credit. As the director of Notte Hospitality Group, Mr. Sorbo uses his real estate acumen and his experience in the hospitality industry to provide his clients with a wealth of advantages.
